Someone announced their wedding to Roadrunner Records, which of course triggered a hail of new In the Pit activity this week.
First,
check out the Mail Bag where people asked for
Slipknot backstage passes, I gave my best wishes to the newly-engaged, and someone complimented us on the new
Black Stone Cherry album.
Sam Totman said there were too many dudes at
Mayhem (what else is new?), but he did manage to get snapped with a cute redhead.
Check her out in the Fan Photos section.
We're keeping our poll on which RR band would make the best name for a sex act open.

36 Crazyfists is in the lead.
Finally, we've gotten a lot of email complimenting us on the
Skull Sessions podcast, so we opened up a place for you to comment publicly in
this week's Forum.

Roadrunner Records is proud to present the sophomore effort from Black Stone Cherry, Folklore and Superstitions. On this album the band incorporates lyrical tales with upbeat riffing and atypical conventions like turkey calls, making it a record that is pleasing as it is unpredictable. The band recorded the album at Black Bird Studios, which is owned and operated by country artist Martina McBride, in Nashville, Tennessee. The album crackles with a down-home, feel good, rock ‘n roll current and was produced and mixed by veteran rock producer Bob Marlette.
