I actually heard the album was due to be released by mid-2012. The guys really want to take their time on this one. Besides, my CD player is pretty booked until then anyway, what with all the terrific new modern rock out today. I've also heard rumors that John Anderson is supposed to appear on the album. He apparently loved the guys' version of "Seminole Wind" they did in Germany. Also, does anyone happen to have a video of when BSC covered "50 Ways To Leave Your Lover"? If you've got one, PM me and let me know! I'd love to see it!

Ah Joekinnley the ever diligent prankster....nothing has been set as of right now Matt. I can tell you this much, they are getting much closer than they were in January. The songs are close, they just have to get the time in the studio. Which if you don't know, is much easier said than done...it will be worth the wait.

Thanks Man......I was hoping this was not going the "Chinese Democracy" route.

I think its quite possible that if the guys do a 2 disc album shortly following up the 3rd album, say one disc full of covers and one of strict acoustic I think it would do quite well for them. How mean the all cover 2 album from Tesla was pretty great in my opinion (some songs being better than the originals).

For the 3rd album itself...definitely bring more old school organ to the background of your songs...letting John Fred and Ben and even Jon take the vocals just leads to the dynamic of the group in that there is no weak player...maybe a lil back and forth dueling guitars for Chris and Ben...moving to a reggae sound for Sunrise was risky, but the more I listened to it the more I grew to love it...honestly if anything else was redone from R&RT that wouldn't be a bad idea...might be a stretch but how bout a lil harmonica to get the real southern sound in there like the band Blackfoot, maybe not to the extent of a song like "Train, Train", but just a lil bit wouldn't hurt....maybe a big power ballad with another decent but also lesser known artist?? for example the Aranda bros or the lead from Taddy Porter. Reasoning being look at what "Hero" did for Josey Scott and Chad Kroeger when it first came out...a memorable drum solo, I loved the entry to "Bitter End" but everyone who knows music can pick out "Hot For Teacher" by Van Halen from the opening kick pedal........plenty of heavy bass lines from Jon....and...of course a lil more COWBELL!
